2011 Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic

Hi ladies,

My name is Tania and I am the Founder and Director of the annual Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic.  I started this clinic in 2005 (when I started mountain biking myself) as a way for women to come together and learn to feel safe and confident on the trail.  After several rides with "the guys" I quickly realized that I don't ride the same way and I most certainly don't confront obstacles on the trail the same way men do. 

The clinic has quickly grown from 9 participants in 2005 to 90 in 2010 and this year we are expecting well over 100 participants for the women's clinic!  Riders of all ages and skill levels are welcome to attend and we have participants from Washington state to Florida who come for the weekend of fun, friends, camping and mountain biking.
