GoTribal presence at ITU San Diego May 2012?

Earlier this week I leaped off the cliff and registered for the Age Group Olympic distance race that is part of the ITU's event in San Diego the second weekend in May 2012.  I'm REALLY hoping that other GoTribal members will be participating--as I have a tendency to leap before I think.  And since I sometimes find myself asking "what am I doing here?!" for local/regional events, I can't even imagine how I will feel come that weekend.  So it would be wonderful to connect with other tribal sisters who are taking the leap too.  For more info (the registration is now open, and unbelieveably it seems to be first come first "serve" registration--no "qualifying" to be part of this amazing once in a life time event--it is serving as one of 2 races for the US Olympians to qualify for 2012 London games! and one of 3 for international olympians to qualify for their home country teams)  go to www.sandiego.triathon.org    there also is an extensive article in the fall edition of the USAT's membership magazine that just came out--that's how I heard about it!  Many thanks, Cindy ARnold Humiston (age grouper 50-54)

Hey Cindy,

I signed up too! As I was planning my 2012 race season, there was another race I was considering for the month of May, but after talking to my coach she suggested I do the ITU race because 'it's a pretty big deal' and the other race will be there next year. 

Let's definitely connect - it would be fun to have a GOTRIbal get together.
