full wet suit recommendations

I'm looking to do a tri in Henderson, NV in late March--they say the water will be mid 60s.  I currently own a shortie wet suit--but have had issues with my chest seizing up in the water (when it was in the low 70s) so I'm thinking a full wet suit might help.  wondering if any one knows of a good "crash course" on what to look for when buying a wet suit--I'm figuring that I will use it a couple times of a year--in the winter/late fall times--and continue to use my shortie during the summer.  Also if anyone knows of any good deals--that would be great-I'm 5'2", 145 pounds. Thanks, Cindy

Hi Cindy!
I have an Xterra Vortex 3 fullsuit and I love it!! http://www.xterrawetsuits.com/catalog/categories/womens/wetsuits/vortex/vortex-3-fullsuit/
They have a size chart on the website, but when I ordered mine I emailed them because I was in-between sizes. The gals at Xterra were so helpful and emailed me back with their recommendations for which size I should order (they had me go to the smaller size for a "race fit" I'm 5'7" and around 130lbs.). It is definately snug to get into, but it peels off nicely after coming out of the water.
As for a deal, if you google Xterra Wetsuit Coupons - some coupon codes should come up that you can try. I managed to use a code that got me the $400 wetsuit for only $179.
Good luck and if you need anything else, just give me a holler :)

Cindy,
Right on - you've got some good tips already.
Xterra also offers great shipping returns so if it doesn't fit you'll be golden. When you need to see tips for the best way to put that piece of rubber on you, take a look at our "Video" section on the website here... there's a wee video there for you.  (A few tricks on how to slither in the suit when it doesn't really feeling like slithering.)
Keep on rockin!
