A new year. And the gym-owners are starting to lick their chops.

For some though, gym membership, goal weights, or new 16-week diet plans aren't really fulfilling....they don't drive them towards something long-term. They feel -- less than.

For some, it's more about living a lifestyle where you feel confident, fun, and deliciously sassy. Where more people want to be around you, rub elbows with you, and feel the strength and optimism of you rub off on them.  

Plus, you want to feel strong enough to take the 152 flights of stairs to your apartment every day not as a "It's part of my 12 week program" but because "I can. SO I will".  You want it mainly because its a welcome break from the monotony of grocery store shopping.

This new race series - the HITS Tri Series- isn't just about racing.  It's about doing something new. Something that joins you with others who challenge themselves. Who respect themselves. Who are confident enough to throw caution to the wind, don a pair of obscenely colored spandex from head to toe, and then slide into some rubberized suit with a smile, only shortly thereafter going for a swim, then bike, then run, while they fill the day with scrumptious bits of smiling, laughing, crying and then smiling again.

Whether your new to this multisport gig or putting it on your 2012 list of "things to do", this is a perfect opportunity to give yourself the gift of good health and active living.

Official Contest Rules

By participating in the contest, you accept and agree to comply with these Official Rules.

By entering the contest you agree to have your name and email added to the HITS Triathlon Series e-news list. Your email will not be sold or traded to any third party and you can cancel or opt-out at any time. 

Registration for the HITS Tri Series is conducted through Active.com. USAT Annual or One Day memberships will be rrequired in order to complete registration.

All bike transport winners will deliver their bike and gear bag (if applicable) to one of Raceday Transport’s Multi-Sport Drop Off facilities located nearest the winners home address.  Please contact Raceday Transport @ (916) 778-7473 to inquire on which Drop Off location will be activated for your region. 

Winner will deliver their bike and gear bag (if applicable) to Multi-Sport Drop Off location no later than 12pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.  Raceday Transport will not be responsible for bike and gear bag transports for items delivered after this deadline, unless alternative arrangements are formalized with winner and Raceday Transport.

After event-Winner will deliver their bike and gear bag (if applicable) to a Raceday Transport representative located at the Raceday Transport booth inside the HITS Fitness Festival location within one hour of the completion of their race, unless alternative arrangements are made with Raceday Transport.

All bike transports are governed by the Terms and Conditions of Raceday Transport located @ www.racedaytransport.com.  All bike transports includes insurance coverage of $1000 per bike.  Additional coverage is available upon request.  Your acceptance of transport services constitutes an agreement of our Terms and Conditions.

Only registering for the Sweepstakes is required to be randomly chosen for the prizes and discounts.

HITS Tri Series, GOTRIbal and Facebook are not responsible for technical failures in entry.

Selection of Winner

On January 23, 2011, one Grand Prize Winner, one Runner Up and one Third Place winner will be randomly selected from all entries. They will be announced during a LIVE Facebook interview session on January 23, and in a GOTRIbal membership general announcement via email.

All entrants will receive a 10% discount code from HITS Triathlon Series to be used on the Corpus Christi race for a distance of the registrant's selection. 

 Grand Prize Winner

Grand Prizewinnerof VIP Bike Transport consists of one (1) bike transport plus *one (1) gear bag to and from event.

*Gear Bag shall be of reasonable size and not exceed 25 lbs.  A “Reasonable” size comparison would be a bag size that would fit comfortably into the overhead bin of a jet airliner.  Pumps not contained inside gear bag(s) will not be transported to event.

Eligibility

Contest is open to all resident of the continental United States.

Contestants must be 18 years or older. 

This contest is open to anyone who follows these Contest Rules. 

You must enter by 1:00 am PDT on Sunday, January 22, 2011 PST.

Disqualification

The Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify a person or to cancel one or several entries of a person who participates or tries to participate in this Contest by using methods that do not comply with these Contest Rules or that are unfair to other entrants.
