Part of the 'fun' of getting a new Rx'd diet has been hunting for the new eh..yummies! Due to a Hx of IBS, i've been told to steer clear from gluten, wheat and be careful with lactose.
It's pretty awesome that these days there's a wide range of GF foods to choose from e.g. bread-white GF, low GI GF, multigrain GF, barley and multigrain, quiona based...and i think there's still more options for the gluten intolerants.
I caught myself thinking about brekky (which new foods to have) while the AM brick session. The ride was painful after yesterday's all out efforts, thankfully it was a short session that finished with a good strong run.
Funny now food is more fuel for my body rather than a tasty morsel i feel like eating. Getting this engine ready for the season!

It's been a wicked revelation that one CAN train and race strong without the gluten side-effects..woo hoo!
Sweet-will be sure to check out fellow GF triathletes :)
Thanks Tanya!
