Pile it High & Deep: Big Breakfasts!

"Pile it high and deep, will ya please?" -- Bob Wiley, What About Bob? (youtube clip)

While Bob was eating dinner while making this request, we could follow suit and apply his eager and charming appetite to our morning meal preparation.

According to a research study done at the University of Texas El Paso, the more calories you eat before noon, the less calories you are likely to eat overall. Fascinating!

Matt Fitzgerald shares this fact and more in the following Triathlete clip on competitor.com. http://triathlon.competitor.com/2011/05/nutrition/racing-weight-eat-a-big-breakfast_29291

In his 2-minute clip you'll also learn about matching your energy needs with meals and why morning is the best time to dig in if you're a breakfast fan.

I own Fitzgerald's book Racing Weight. I lined up to buy it after his session at GOTRIbal Conference & Retreat  last fall. He was interesting and easy to listen to, and judging by the line of attendees, I think he sold a bunch of books!
